Nursing searches, minds innovate, and hearts care
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Dr/ Saher Alshaharani,The Nursing College Club in Abha, in partnership with the College's Alumni Unit and in cooperation with the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students' Affairs, in addition to the departments of: Medical-Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Maternal and Pediatric Health Nursing, and Nursing Administration and Education, organized the event “Nursing searches, Minds Innovates, and Hearts Cares,” on Sunday, 18/5/1447 AH, corresponding to November 9, 2025 AD.
The event aimed to enhance scientific research among female and male students and alumni of the College of Nursing, encourage innovation in healthcare fields, and highlight the vital role of nursing in serving the community.
The event comprised two main parts:
1. The Scientific Training Session
Dr. Rania, Dr. Dawlat, and Dr. Nisreen presented a detailed explanation on:

The importance of scientific research and its impact on developing nursing practice.

How to prepare a scientific paper according to the correct methodological foundations.

The basic guidelines for writing a comprehensive research protocol.
2. The Best Scientific Research Competition

The competition, aimed at female students, male students, female alumni, and male alumni, was announced in advance to select the best scientific research or research protocol.

The arbitration committee, formed by Dr. Sahar Hamdy, Dr. Najwa, and Dr. Lizzy, evaluated the protocols according to an approved standardized tool.

Participants presented innovative nursing research projects and ideas.
The event also included research and introductory corners where female students and alumni displayed their scientific projects and ideas in an atmosphere reflecting the spirit of creativity and excellence.

In conclusion, the event witnessed a remarkable attendance and interaction, reflecting the extent of interest in developing knowledge and refining nursing skills.
