Under the patronage of Her Excellency, the Dean of the College of Nursing in Abha, Dr. Sahar Rafdan Al-Shahrani, and under the supervision of the Vice Dean for Academic and Educational Affairs, Dr. Mona Al-Shuraim, the College of Nursing in Abha, represented by the Student Care and Counseling Unit, is hosting the introductory meeting for new female students for the academic year 1448 AH.

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Dr. Sahar Rafdan Al-Shahrani, and in collaboration with the College's Professional Development Unit, the orientation program for new faculty members for the academic year 1448 will be held from 19-31/8/2026.

Under the patronage of Dr. Sahar Rafdan Al-Shahrani, Dean of the College, the Professional Development Committee at the College of Nursing, King Khalid University - Abha, conducted the Orientation Program for newly joined faculty members from 1/12/2026  - 14/12/2026 at 12:00 N – 1.00 pm in the E-Learning Lab.

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College/ Dr. Sahar Rafdan Al-Shahrani, The Alumni Unit at the College of Nursing in Abha organized an introductory meeting with graduates of the Bachelor of Nursing program, aiming to discuss the program’s learning outcomes and their alignment with labor market needs and professional practice requirements. The meeting witnessed fruitful interaction from the graduates, who shared their opinions and suggestions regarding the skills and competencies necessary to enhance graduates’ readiness to engage in various healthcare work environments.

Under the patronage of Her Excellency the Dean of the College, Dr. Sahar Rafdan Al-Shahrani, and with the participation of the Alumni Unit and the Volunteer Work Unit of the college, the World Career Day was celebrated. This event aimed to:

          Victory of Abha College of Nursing Students in the Nursing Beacon Competition in Riyadh at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University

King Khalid University, represented by the College of Nursing in Abha, announces that its students have achieved an outstanding academic accomplishment in the Nursing Beacon Competition – second edition, which was held on Thursday, 30/04/2026, at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in Riyadh, with the participation of several nursing colleges across the Kingdom.

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Dr. Sahar Rafdan Al-Shahrani, the college held a workshop titled 'Assessment for Student Success: Strategies and Techniques,' on Monday, April 16, 2026. The workshop targeted the faculty members of the college.

Workshop Objectives:

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Dr. Sahar Rafdan Al-Shahrani, the college participated in the Admission Forum for the academic year 1448 to introduce third-year high school students to the admission requirements and mechanisms, and to showcase the academic majors available at the university on Wednesday and Thursday, corresponding to April 29-30, 2026.
