About the unit

The Alumni Unit is one of the key units at the College of Nursing, playing a strategic role in maintaining strong ties between the college and its graduates, and in following up with them after graduation to ensure ongoing constructive engagement. The unit aims to support alumni and empower them to develop their professional and academic skills, while facilitating their integration into the job market through career guidance, continuous training, and by opening new opportunities for employment and career advancement.

The unit works to establish an accurate and up-to-date database of all graduates, enabling the tracking of their career paths and assessing how well the college's outcomes align with labor market requirements. This data is also used in academic evaluation and development processes. In addition, the unit organizes regular meetings, professional forums, and career fairs that bring together graduates and employers, fostering effective communication channels that allow alumni to benefit from each other’s experiences and strengthen their sense of belonging to the college.

Moreover, the Alumni Unit encourages graduates to participate in various college activities and activates their role as representatives and ambassadors of the college in healthcare institutions. It also gathers feedback from alumni on the quality of education and the programs offered. Graduates are also given opportunities to take part in community initiatives and volunteer projects, reflecting the college’s commitment to community service.

Through these integrated efforts, the Alumni Unit contributes to sustaining the relationship between the college and its graduates, and to empowering them to enhance the quality of education and healthcare services—fully aligned with the college’s vision of leadership and excellence both locally and globally.
