"A Nation's Vision through the Eyes of the College of Nursing in Abha"
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Dr. Sahar Rafdan Al-Shahrani, and the esteemed Vice Dean, Dr. Reem Humaidi, a meeting was held for the faculty members and administrative staff of the college to raise awareness about the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
Dr. Sahar Rafdan spoke about the role of King Khalid University as an active partner in achieving the pillars of Saudi Vision 2030 through enhancing the quality of education, developing human capabilities, supporting scientific research and innovation, serving the community, promoting digital transformation, empowering women, strengthening community partnerships, and developing a university environment that fosters creativity.
She also highlighted the steps taken by the university and the College of Nursing in Abha towards realizing the goals of Vision 2030.
Dr. Reem Humaidi spoke about the university’s role in achieving the Vision across all levels, and its clear impact on improving the quality of education and enhancing the efficiency of the college’s staff.
Dr. Mona Shareem, Assistant Professor in the Department of Adult Care, Emergency and critical care Nursing, spoke about the university's role in supporting and encouraging scholarship students throughout their academic journey to achieve their goals, and how the university played an active role in her own educational experience.
Additionally, Dr. Mona Daif Allah, Lecturer in the Department of Maternal and Child Health Nursing, spoke about the college’s contribution to achieving Vision 2030, and how the support from the college and university helped her throughout her academic journey.
In conclusion, we strive together to highlight our role in achieving Saudi Vision 2030 through creativity, dedication, and teamwork.
