The Department of Nursing Administration and Education aims to provide students with opportunities to develop competencies as well as theoretical and practical knowledge in the key elements of leadership and management, and to apply them in the field of nursing administration. This is to prepare them to become effective leaders and managers in modern healthcare institutions.

The department includes faculty members with various academic ranks and is responsible for teaching five courses: Nursing Administration and Leadership, Introduction to Nursing Research, Communication Skills and Health Education, Quality and Safety in Nursing, and Nursing Informatics.

The department continues to contribute to the implementation of quality assurance mechanisms, performance improvement, and the promotion of scientific research. This is achieved through participating in organizing scientific conferences at the college, publishing scientific research, and delivering academic lectures.

Additionally, the Department of Nursing Administration and Education is keen on developing students' capabilities and refining their professional and leadership skills through active participation in student activities and community initiatives. These activities are considered an extension of the department's academic and training role, contributing to the preparation of graduates who are not only scientifically qualified but also socially and ethically aware. This aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 in building a health-conscious society and developing a nursing workforce capable of leadership and influence within healthcare institutions and the broader community.

Our vision is to take the lead among academic nursing management departments internationally and locally through continuous quality improvement to provide outstanding education, practice and research to serve the community

Mission

The department educates students before and after graduation to be highly qualified nurses. The student has the information and skills necessary to communicate, deal and learn leadership within the framework of the continuous change of the health care system, through the achievement of the highest level of distinguished professional practices and research to serve the community

Learn about human resource management

Apply the different roles of the nursing supervisor

Application of management skills

Encourage teamwork

Fill in the various records and reports used in the hospital

Apply the principles of problem solving

Criticizing the ideal and actual role of the head of the nursing staff
