About the Unit

The Development, Quality, and Academic Accreditation Unit at the College of Nursing is one of the key pillars in achieving the College’s vision and mission towards academic excellence and global distinction. The unit operates under the supervision of the Vice Dean for Development and Quality and aims to foster a culture of quality and accreditation while ensuring continuous improvement in academic, administrative, and research performance according to the highest standards.

The unit is responsible for implementing and regularly updating quality plans, monitoring compliance with institutional and programmatic accreditation standards, and conducting periodic evaluations of academic and administrative performance. It also supports developmental initiatives that enhance the capabilities of faculty members, staff, and students, contributing to the creation of a stimulating and high-quality learning environment.

In addition, the unit promotes scientific research and innovation, expands academic programs to meet community needs, and builds strategic partnerships both locally and internationally. One of its key priorities is to obtain accreditation from prestigious national and international bodies, reflecting the College's ongoing commitment to comprehensive quality and excellence in its educational, research, and community outcomes.
