Visit of Sixteenth High School for Girls Delegation to the college of Nursing
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Dr. Sahar Rafdan Al-Shahrani, and in cooperation with the Community Service Committee, the Volunteer Management Department, and the Nursing College Club in Abha, a delegation from the 16th Secondary School for Girls visited the college. Following the completion of official procedures, the visit aimed to introduce students to the college environment and the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, including its primary career paths.
Welcoming and Introductory Session
The visit was inaugurated by the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs and Development, Dr. Mona Al Shuraim, who provided:

An explanation of how the college aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and King Khalid University’s goals regarding community service, volunteering, and strengthening the bond between the university and the community.
Field Tour and Practical Demonstrations
The visiting delegation, accompanied by faculty members and the laboratory supervisor, toured the Clinical Skills Laboratories. During this tour, they received a simplified explanation of the modern equipment and tools used in practical training.
The group also visited the Community Service Committee’s permanent exhibition, which showcases the college’s various volunteer initiatives and community contributions. This was followed by a tour of university facilities, including the Elite Lounge, where students were briefed on the key activities and services available to them.
Closing Remarks
To conclude the visit, the Dean of the College provided a summary of the Bachelor of Nursing degree, its career prospects after graduation, and the vital role of women’s empowerment. She emphasized the importance of female participation in community activities to help realize the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The delegation joined the college in celebrating Founding Day. The Dean and Vice Dean expressed their gratitude to the school principal, teachers, and students for their visit, wishing the students continued excellence and success in their future academic endeavors.
