The college students' victory in the Nursing Lighthouse competition in Riyadh

          Victory of Abha College of Nursing Students in the Nursing Beacon Competition in Riyadh at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University

King Khalid University, represented by the College of Nursing in Abha, announces that its students have achieved an outstanding academic accomplishment in the Nursing Beacon Competition – second edition, which was held on Thursday, 30/04/2026, at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in Riyadh, with the participation of several nursing colleges across the Kingdom.

The college students excelled in the innovative exhibition accompanying the competition, achieving top positions that reflect the quality of educational outcomes and the efficiency of academic training, as follows:

Second place: Student:  Yara Abdu Asiri – Sixth Level – Project: Smart Belly Banda

Third place: Student:  Jory Saleh Al-Amri – Eighth Level – Project: Triple-S Smart Dressing

This achievement comes as a culmination of the college's efforts in supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in the nursing field, and in creating an educational environment that encourages creativity and scientific research, with the support and guidance of the Dean of the College of Nursing, and under the supervision of the Vice Dean of the College. This has contributed to enabling the students to represent the college honorably and achieve this excellence. This achievement is considered a qualitative addition to the record of accomplishments of the College of Nursing in Abha, and a testament to its commitment to enhancing the quality of education and strengthening its presence in national academic forums, in line with the objectives of excellence and innovation in nursing education.
